Barcelona

You will begin your Spain tour with 5 nights in the Gothic district of Barcelona.  After checking into your hotel, you will get together with the group for tapas and a Flamenco show.  While staying in Barcelona you will enjoy a day tour to Montserrat with winery tour and tasting.  You will also tour several of Gaudi’s architectural marvels such as the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Casa Mila-La Pedrera and Casa Batllo.  Your hotel is just a short walk to Las Ramblas and La Boqueria Market where you can enjoy some of Barcelona’s best restaurants, bars and shopping.  You will have plenty of free time to wander the streets and enjoy much of what Barcelona has to offer.  Breakfast is included daily.

Madrid

Next you will head to Madrid, the capital of Spain, via high speed train.  Once in Madrid, you will check into your centrally located hotel for a 3 night stay. You will visit the Royal Palace, the Prado Museum, and the Plaza Mayor and take a day trip to the historical cities of Avila and Segovia. Avila is home to some of the best preserved medieval walls in the world while Segovia is a Unesco World Heritage site and one of the most beautiful cities in Spain.  In Segovia you will visit the Aqueduct and Alcazar, said to be the inspiration for the Disneyland castle.  Breakfast is included daily

Sitges

Youll spend your last 4 nights in Spain in the coastal city of Sitges, the birthplace of Don Bacardi!  Your hotel is within walking distance of the beach and the city center.  You will have time to explore Sitges on your own, relax by the beach, finish your packing and shopping, wander the seafront promenade with its beautiful mansions or visit one of the art museums. The final group event will be a catered sail on the Mediterranean.  Breakfast is included daily but may not be possible on the day of departure if you have a very early flight.

Inclusions:

12 nights accommodations, 5 in Barcelona, 3 in Madrid, and 4 in Sitges.

14 meals – 12 breakfasts, one lunch and 1 dinner.

Welcome dinner and Flemenco show.

Tour to include Familia Sagrada, Park Guell, Casa Mila-La Pedrera and Casa Batllo.

Sailboat outing with catered lunch.

Day trip to Montserrat with Winery tour and tasting.

This itinerary is a general outline of activities.  Tours arranged with local guides will go on regardless of weather conditions.  However, we may add, change or delete activities if there is bad weather or if we are lucky enough to have better opportunities come along.  For that reason, it is important to be open and flexible in order to have at the best possible experience. **

*Prices are per person based on double occupancy and are subject to change without notice.  In addition, a single supplement of $495 will apply for any person who requires single accommodations.  Currency exchange rates can fluctuate and affect the cost of the tour.  For this reason, the tour price may increase between now and the date of the tour.  Your 20% down payment ($560) will lock in your tour price.
