Start your Tuscan stay with 7 nights in Cortona.  While in Cortona, you will enjoy panoramic views of the Val di Chiana, Mount Sant’Egidio and Lake Trasimeno.  Your is a private villa is short walk from the historical center of Cortona where you can spend time shopping, eating, drinking and mixing with the locals.  

Your stay in Cortona will include winery tours and tastings, breakfast daily, a gourmet welcome dinner, day trips to nearby hill towns, a walking tour of historical Cortona, and a special Wine, Dine and Shine event.  

In addition, you will have plenty of free time to explore on your own or visit nearby sites such as Le Celle which is the Franciscan hermitage, area churches filled with beautiful works of art, the Etruscan tombs, the Diocesan Museum and the Etruscan Academy Museum.  You can even take a hike to Bramasole, the famous “Under the Tuscan Sun” home.

Sorrento

Next you will arrive in beautiful Sorrento where you will stay in a lovely 5-star private luxury villa with commanding views of the Isle of Capri.  Sorrento’s position between Naples and Positano gives easy access to both and it’s a short boat ride to Capri.

While in Sorrento, your day tours will include a to visit the Amalfi Coast including Rapallo, Positano and Amalfi; a day trip to the Isle of Capri; a visit to Mt. Vesuvius and much more.

This itinerary is a general outline of activities.  Tours arranged with local guides will go on regardless of weather conditions.  However, other activities may be changed, added, or deleted if there is bad weather or if we are lucky enough to have better opportunities come along.  For that reason, it is important to be open and flexible in order to have the best possible experience. **
