Scotland Castles Tour

Edinburgh

You’ll start your castles tour with a stay in an actual castle where we will all meet for a delicious welcome dinner.  Then you’ll enjoy time in Edinburgh and day trips to St. Andrews and Glasgow.  Explore the Edinburgh Castle; St. Andrews Castle, Cathedral and golf course; and go on a fun bus tour of Glasgow while taking high tea. You will also enjoy a free day to do as you please.  Breakfast is included daily from the June 29th.

More Castles – Knockando

Next, the tour departs Edinburgh for Knockando, in the heart of distillery country, with a stop on the way at Stirling Castle where Mary, Queen of Scots lived.  You will stay in a lovely country house in Knockando which is a great central point for your day trips to Balmoral Castle, a nearby whiskey distillery and Inverness.  You’ll also have a free day to enjoy as you please.  Breakfast is included daily.

Edinburgh

We will return to Edinburgh with a stop in Perth to explore another of Scotland’s famous castles, Lochleven Castle.  Overnight accommodations are near the Edinburgh airport for your convenience.  We say goodbye the morning of the July 6th.  Breakfast is included unless your flight is very early in which case breakfast may not be ready before your departure.

This itinerary is a general outline of activities.  Tours arranged with local guides will go on regardless of weather conditions.  However, other activities may be changed, added, or deleted if there is bad weather or if we are lucky enough to have better opportunities come along.  For that reason, it is important to be open and flexible in order to have the best possible experience. **

*Prices are per person based on double occupancy and are subject to change without notice. In addition, a single supplement of $1750 will apply. Currency exchange rates can fluctuate and affect the cost of the tour.  For this reason, the tour price may increase between now and the tour date.  Your 20% down payment will lock-in your tour price.

**Add on reservations must be made and paid for when the trip deposit is submitted.

Tours may be cancelled if fewer than 10 spots are booked.
