Description
Greece
Greece is the land of azure skies, white-washed buildings, ancient history and incredible food. Join us as we explore Athens, Mykonos and Santorini!
Athens
Your adventure starts with a welcome dinner and a 3 night stay in your centrally located hotel which includes daily breakfast in their lovely restaurant with that features an excellent view of the Acropolis.
While in Athens take a 4 hour tour of the places you have always wanted to explore – the Acropolis, Plaka and city center of Athens – with a local expert guide. That evening you will head to school for a cooking class where you will learn to make local classic dishes. You will also take a day trip to Mycenae, Epidauros and the Corinth Canal with a winery tour and tasting.
Mykonos
Next ferry from Athens to Mykonos and stay in a Mykonos beach hotel for 3 nights. While here you’ll experience a farm tour and Greek BBQ. You will still have plenty of time to enjoy the beach or do some exploring on your own. Breakfast is included daily.
It is possible to add-on a boat charter in either Mykonos or Santorini (or both). Charters can include gourmet prepared lunch and snorkeling/swimming off the end of the boat.
Santorini
Finish your Greek vacation with 4 nights in the most popular vacation destination on earth – beautiful Santorini. Your hotel is located in Fira and each room has a sea/garden view. Your time in Santorini is yours to enjoy as you please. Suggestions include catching the bus to the prehistoric Akrotiri ruins, from there you can take a hike to red beach. Or take a bus to Oia to capture one of the worlds most breathtaking sunsets. While on Santorini, the group will get together for the final time to share a meal and say good-byes.
